It is a common saying on most, if not all social media platforms that "Men are scum." Well, personally, I know quite a number of men who are not scum. For various reasons men have become scum to women or rather the entire female populace. I do not disagree with the men are scum theme song actually; personal experiences and very true life stories have made me believe at several intervals that men are indeed the scummiest of the scum. But the problem is that everyone can be a scum at any given time, but that is a story for another time.

Okay guys. Back on beauty again......

I wrote a article some weeks back on the issue of "beauty". I was taking a pseudo-altruistic view because I wanted to be honest in the depths of the truth of  "real beauty". The beauty that would make the world a better place.

This time we'll be looking at the nature of the beauty that we focus on - today, in the world.

Let's be honest. With these four people in the above pic, who do you think is "more beautiful" . Do you judge beauty by external appearance?

Well most of us do. Be honest, you automatically judged the older ladies as

As much as I would have loved to write up a kolanut article on this i.e.  'Beauty in a kolanut' I think I'll leave it just as a simple article and give the extrapolation which I have on this only.

I'm sure most people no longer believe that beauty these days is that of the biggest butt or chest or curviest body, or the prettiest face even. Most of that is thankfully dye to the influence of the social media, thought leaders, new age thinkers, internet and yes, even the mass media as well. 

Considering the damage that the latter two have done to promote such an image it's good that they've finally tried to redeem themselves - in a way. The gross majority of those latter two still promotes and propagates that image of beauty which they sell advertise in their monetizing bids to prey on the fantasies of the public. The men who love, as well as encourage, that image of gratifying beauty and the women who are forced to believe that "Beauty" is all about "Sex Appeal" .

How to finish a Nigerian...

So....I'm sure many of you might not have known this - but we Nigerians (If you're Nigerian shaa) are being hunted.

Yes. Hunted.

Much like our own bushmeat.
