The Dance Floor of The Mind

Moods come in various shades
Some, cloudy
Some, like the stars
Others like rain
And even a few, are like the Sun
The dark ones, almost choke out all the light.

Top 10 Erin Hansen Poems

I like poetry. I have for  long time now. It's beautiful how words come together to weave a story that comes alive in your mind, and awaken emotions that you may have never known you had - or even ones you believed that you had long since forgotten.

Today, I'd like to celebrate one of our contemporary poets who has been amazing me, from the very first day I read one of her works. Sing with me like it's the Sound of Music. These are a few of my favourite things...

1. This poem that reminds us, we are all that we choose to be
"Not"

2. This poems that tells us about the raging waves in many hearts...
"The Flood"

Movie Love

I hate romance movies.

I used to be more or less apathetic towards the genre and it’s relations and concepts but lately they just annoy me. A lot now. The fact that a movie will show a story of people being/falling in love within 2 hours is deceitful. Frightfully so.

It’s like showing a football match of Manchester United vs Chelsea within a 2 minute video.

The fault in your stars

The fault in your stars
By Damilola Adewolu

Almost everyone is interested in music nowadays. A huge problem is the kind of music that is out there, most of it is very disturbing and brings a lot to mind. I will take the lyrics of just one popular song pumped  through cylindrical tubes into the mental faculties of a lot of young people today and help you see the fault in that which you appraise as the best and all time favourite song.

We will look at a rap song heavily influenced by deep bass beats carefully orchestrated In a pattern to leave the head of the passive  minded swaying from side to side. Yeah the new banger "love with the coco".

Being Shy

Hi. I'm Jamike.  I'm kinda sure you knew this already but I'll try to go on with what we're here for.
Shyness. It's a dilemma for many and deemed an asset by very very few.
Have you ever wondered if you're shy?  If you're actually wondering...then it's likely you're not. If you've ever wondered whether you're outspoken.....it's most likely that you are...sorry? :P
