THE SCOUSPOCALYPSE- The Tears of a non-Liverpool Fan

 [5 min read]

25 points clear, already qualified for next year’s Champions’ League and could be title holders in less than 10 games. There, official notice, the world is about to be thrown into an apocalyptic state. Nothing, nothing, I repeat, is expected to be normal thereafter.

Like a freshly delivered Bride at the Groom's doorstep, Liverpool are about to lay their hands on this beauty.

Roses are red, Violets are blue, Liverpool are going to win the league and so we’re screwed.

Sports Weekly - Part 1

[2min read]

Liverpool defeat Spurs as unbeaten run continues.

The weekend started with a top-of-the-table clash as Liverpool defeated Tottenham hotspurs in a thrilling clash on Saturday. Wijunaldum scored the first goal for Liverpool and Firmino came through with a belter to put Liverpool two nil up; Lamela  scored a late goal to setup a tense finale.

It was also a good week for the top teams in the football leagues as most of them won, asides Real Madrid, who drew 1-1 with Athletic Bilabo over the weekend. In other news, Cristiano Ronaldo, popularly known as ‘ororo’, scored his first and second goals for Juventus on Saturday against Sassuolo.

Movie Love

I hate romance movies.

I used to be more or less apathetic towards the genre and it’s relations and concepts but lately they just annoy me. A lot now. The fact that a movie will show a story of people being/falling in love within 2 hours is deceitful. Frightfully so.

It’s like showing a football match of Manchester United vs Chelsea within a 2 minute video.

Girls and Football - The ABUAD Edition

I was on the field the other day because my college members had been set to play football - both the male and female teams. I was quite curious as to how the female team would play and where they would play for that matter as well - seeing as my school only had one "official" football field. I later found out that same day - when i had gone to the field - that the girls were going to play on an improvisation of a field drawn on the grass, with paintwork. I had to say I was somewhat dissatisfied and disappointed with the effort,  but what could I do? I had come to watch the game and watch the game I would.

The match started off soon after, and for many people in my college, ended almost immediately soon after. The opposing team scored two goals within the first five minutes of the game. Now - I'm not at all an ardent watcher of  soccer/football (whichever you prefer to call it) but i know that when you're watching a football match you normally shout and scream - either to support your team or make fun of the other. My college was almost quite literally speechless. No football fanny soul would call that silence anything but unnerving.
