Friends and Frienemies

What use is forgiving your ENEMIES, if you can't even forgive your own FRIENDS?

There's this "humour quote" that says - "The bible probably tells us to love our neighbours and love our enemies, probably because they are generally the same people".

Sometimes even the funniest statements contain constants of truth. Think of it this way - a lot of times your 'enemies' are simply friends that you haven't made yet, and I believe that friends are simply 'enemies' you've come to understand.

Hi.

As a lot of you know I'm not really all that much of a regular poster on here as much as I would have loved to be, but I'm still working on it. I've got my own good reasons, but I won't be addressing those now because I'm here to talk about something else, which is much more important.

I'm here to talk about sharing the Christian faith.

Best Friend For Sale

Well.
I really don't think I should be writing this article.

You'll know why if you keep on reading.

Most people have this one, special, always-there, super-understanding friend. If I was in a satire type of mood, my next sentence would say "These people are afflicted with the Best Friend Syndrome - ". But I'm trying to be nice today, so I'll throw sugar and blue icing on everything here. I do hope you don't have mental diabetes though. (I'm talking to you goth-lover)

I've had several "Best Friends" throughout my 23-yearcareer in humanity. I can happily sum up my experiences with this sentence.

"Don't Do It."

The Rival

Have you ever had a competitor in something? If you're saying no, and you're a human being, then I'm not exactly sure if I have any good news for you, or maybe you just don't know. The truth is ever since we've existed, even before our birth we've competed.

You've competed with the other spermatozoa to get to that fertile egg.
You've competed with your siblings for food, toys and attention.
You've competed with life issues for survival each day.
You even compete with gravity - every day that you stand up again.
