Beauty...and the beast.....

As much as I would have loved to write up a kolanut article on this i.e.  'Beauty in a kolanut' I think I'll leave it just as a simple article and give the extrapolation which I have on this only.

I'm sure most people no longer believe that beauty these days is that of the biggest butt or chest or curviest body, or the prettiest face even. Most of that is thankfully dye to the influence of the social media, thought leaders, new age thinkers, internet and yes, even the mass media as well. 

Considering the damage that the latter two have done to promote such an image it's good that they've finally tried to redeem themselves - in a way. The gross majority of those latter two still promotes and propagates that image of beauty which they sell advertise in their monetizing bids to prey on the fantasies of the public. The men who love, as well as encourage, that image of gratifying beauty and the women who are forced to believe that "Beauty" is all about "Sex Appeal" .

Both parties, having such an erroneous belief go on strengthening it, propagating it, evolving it. No. It's not just on women either. The pressure. It's in the men as well.

 

Chiseled abs.

Muscular chest.

Bulging biceps.

Hard toned bodies.

Square jaw.

Cute, petite muscular behind.

Chei. There's probably a whole lot more even. Please. Men are soft. They are flesh and bone as well. Flesh is soft biko. Whoever told you that abs are as hard as stone is a LIAR.

Women suffer the same ideals of false beauty, albeit in their own description as;

Huge Chest

Small hands

Huge behind

Small waist

Big lips.

Fine face.

Yes. You should try watching Johnny Bravo someday. Both stereotypes are vividly expressed in that show.

Luckily for us the world we live in has evolved from the world which used to be. We live in a world that questions everything. Beliefs, theorems, traditions, stories, advice - yes, nothing is spared.

Not always a good thing, however at least it works in this case. Beauty is a simple, yet at the same time, seemingly complex thing.

Most people these days have set into the view and belief that "Beauty is in the inside " I'm sorry. I don't believe that. I refuse to believe that beauty is something hidden inside of a person just as a I refuse to believe that it's layered on the external. [ ie as sex appeal]

Sex appeal consumes the entirety of the image of true beauty. It warps it and transfigures its meaning. It gives the idea that beauty results from the looks and body one carries. It draws no attention to anything aesthetic or meaningful of the person besides a select few external characteristics.

I refuse to believe that beauty is limited in any such way. I believe beauty is everywhere.

Beauty is inside you.

Beauty shows outside you.

Beauty surrounds you.

That's what I believe. It will show if you are, TRULY, beautiful. Yes. In your words. In your actions. In your eyes. In your walking step. In your mannerisms. In your life choices. In your everything. The bible says that "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh". Beauty is the REAL you.

If you need cuss words to look tough. You are withholding yourself from true strength.

If you are forming supermodel walk in the classroom. You are hiding your true self.

If you are planning to wear heavy makeup to buy crayfish on the market which will take you five minutes. Please nobody will reduce any price for you.

If you're a Christian as well, you've heard that the bible says "I am fearfully and wonderfully made". Please do not rely on only that single passage. Search through the bible and you will truly see that you ARE beautiful.

Yes. You are beautiful (Oh, If you are male and prefer 'You are handsome, then ok - whatever makes you happy shaa) - In body, In mind, In soul.

All in all, what I’m saying is that

Beauty is REAL. Sex appeal is a BEAST.
