How NiMSA broke my heart

I remember when we first started going, we left our 5-star Hostels in Ido, to leave for an adventure.
Do you see why we chose to school here?

It wasn't easy to leave, as the consultants would like you to learn for 26 hours, 9 days a week.
Bye bye sir...

When passing police checkpoints, simply whispering the Afe name in their direction was like the key to the presidential go-through....

Our people on the way there refused to take selfie, so all I can show you is this.
Absolute. Nothing.

As we were getting there, I took the liberty to inform NiMSA SW that "the flavour is coming"
ABUAD, ABUAD...

After what seemed like too long a time we reached the great gate of Unilorin...
It was shaa 'Better by far'

We thought the journey was over, but we didn't know it would take like 7 days and 7 nights to still get to the main area.
Wait... is this a school or  city??

We got to the , and were told the quiz was just about to start. But being on that journey had lit a hunger in our tummies, not our minds...
Can we settle the primal hunger first?

There were lots of creative people there, showcasing talent in various ways...
T.A.L.E.N.T.

Next was the "cocktail party", but lovely Mother Nature had other plans for us
No way

So we had to change venue. In the party that held, there were pushup contests...
Some poor boy only did 5 though...

There were gele-tying contests. The contest was really on fleek.
I think Rihanna must have seen our pics and now copied us...

Then there was the makeup contest. But for privacy sake, I won't upload the pics that were taken. You might never look at some men the same.
Cough** David   Cough** Abbey

As much as we were the heart of the party, even WE couldn't do without sleep. So we left shortly as they began their "Dance, Dance, Dance" and they tried to devour our females...
Please leave our girls alone

The next day was Mall day, and when we finally left, every once so often the tree branches would enter the open windows and shower us with a blessing of displaced angry ants.
Yay

We got to the mall and started exploring. Having so much fun...
So much stuff to do!!!

Some of us photobombed....
Boom! hahaha... who is that fine model?

Some of us made new friends and met old ones....
Beautiful people...

Some of us loved chicken....
Yum...

We went back, in our bus with "enough space for everyone"...
So much comfort...

Then it was time!! We prepped for dinner!! It didn't take long to get ready for us guys...
What is 'African time' ?

The girls shaa took a couple of centuries to dress...
Please just rub powder next time... abeg...

Then we got onto our buses, and after several ages of long travel, we got to our destination, and you know pics had to blow.
Sparkles everywhere...

ABUAD didn't hesitate to own the camera shoot as as usual...
We. Slayed. You.

All the presidents were acting presidential of course
The Bosses...

UI was alive on the photo scene with a strong and resonating power pose
Bam Bam!! James!! Show them!!

LASUCOM brought their A-team to power up the event...
This is the super crew...

OOU was not going to be left out - they were owning the flow
Aren't we awesome?

IFUMSA was beautifully diverse, with both genders duly represented.
These guys really tried shaa. :)

Babcock, as always, didn't fail to slay
Clap Clap... wait... is that Ire there?

And then Bowen. Oh!! Bowen was just on point!!
Rock on, guys

Then came the dinner events. The fashion show was a killer that night....
Fine geh!! Kill them! Kill them!

The ABUAD men slayed so much that the fashion show was a "massacre"
We woke up like this.

Then we went to relax. Stuff happened. Nothing serious though...
...ahem

A few hours later we returned to our hostels in the school for our beauty sleep...
I'm so tired...

Then suddenly....
Everybody wake up!! It's time!!

They expected us to leave the school when the fun was just starting...
Go back to your schools!

No breakfast. No numbers. No extended vacation.
No souvenirs

That' how NiMSA cut short my regional enjoyment, and attacked my heart.
They should have let me stay around jare...

Will I go for another fun-filled regional adventure? Well, let's see.... If I do though, I hope I see you there...
Show. Up.
