On Friday, March 2nd, 2018 Abuad SRC(student representative council) showed a pirated version of the black panther movie at their in-school movie event. The graphics were very poor, it was cinema dub even; and the movie had Chinese subtitles. I guess those of us who took that Chinese AFE class seriously were the happiest.

I know I sound direct, this time I'm not about to beat about the bush, GET INTERESTING!

A respected voice once made this statement, and it stuck with me. As a guy, all that you know about can't be soccer or politics, and as a lady, all you know shouldn't be makeup, fashion or Korean movies. No offence, but I mean can we not expand?

Inspire Young Leader Summit (IYLS), is an initiative that aims at building future leaders from the youth in our society. IYLS was a 3 days event, and it started on Thursday February 22th 2018, and ended  on Saturday February 24th, 2018.

Day 1: Thursday 22^nd, 2018: Food Festival

The first day of IYLS summit clashed with the ABUAD cultural day. There were cultural activities such as the Masquerade dance, Sango (The Yoruba God of Thunder) performance and some fun games. Olusola Amusan (CIO Microsoft Nigeria) gave a very motivational and captivating speech. It was a very fun and memorable night.

ABUAD Cultural Day

So today in the main campus of AUAD, we had our very own Wakanda scenography going on, courtesy of the SRC Week. It was Cultural Day in ABUAD, and we saw amazing displays of african beauty and appreciation.

We took a few photos of the best we could find, as we walked around the school. Comment below if you find yourself or a friend.

MY DAD

It has been 16 years now, and I still remember it all like it was few moments ago. I might have forgotten the date, but I don’t want to ask my Mom because it hurts her.

I was in primary 4 then, in Alvan Ikoku college of Education Primary school (Now a Federal School). My father had been sick for some months and was hospitalized, and he was eventually diagnosed with Hepatitis B.

I didn’t know what it was, all I knew was that my father was sick.

So anyway... most of anyone who's writing on anything today, or acting on some sort of media outlet is going to focus on LOVE... well... that or sex, gifts and money. People these days don't seem to know how to distinguish between the two.

I, however, will be doing something different* . If you've been reading my blog then you probably really know I usually like thinking outside the box much. You shouldn't blame me. With my height, my head is always sticking out of the box....
