The Case - Chapter One
Chapter One:
"Mehn!! ...I ain't never seen a dull day like this, Chris" said
officer Jake.
"Hand me that gun" said officer Chris.
"You wanna shoot yourself, right?"
"You know me so well".
Chris and Jake had been best friends since kindergarten, and even their
parents still saw each other in their old ages. They had both entered the
Police Academy at the Washington district - and after two years of cleaning
guns and polishing shoes of D.A.'s, they got into the force, and had been looking
for some "real action" ever since.

My Love Story
By Patsy
He was my childhood friend. I can't remember
how exactly we met, but he was always around. They always talked about him and pushed
me towards him and made sure he followed me everywhere. It caught on. I kinda built
my life around him. I knew what he liked and disliked, and we talked every morning and night before I went to bed. He was mummy's
ideal man for me.
But I grew up.

The Thankless
I’m sure at some point or time in your life you’ve been
faced with a situation, occupation or task in which you put in TREMENDOUS
effort and a large amount of your time to achieve the maximum potential of your
results can get – all for it to mean so little to the people who either view it
or the people you did it for. Not a thank you, not a clap, not a single naira
note in your hand for it….
Truthfully, sometimes - It’s painful to be unappreciated. It
hurts when you or your work isn’t recognized. But sometimes the work we do
isn’t done necessarily because we’re looking for some grand form of
appreciation or applause, but simply because it’s a good thing to do – the right
thing even. (Click below to read more.....)

Ten things to never do in Nigeria
This is a short list describing several (actually just 10 :P ) things you should probably never try doing in good ol' Naija. Not just for your sake, or ours too. We have a reputation you know.... :| A good one..... i mean.
1. Buy ****D Shawarma:
Honestly? There are some shawarmas that exist in this world that if you had eaten or tried them first, your love for shawarmas would be sorely inexistent, This type happens to be one of the traitors to that tasty shawarmas name. I have recently changed the name of the institution which offers this shawarma. Those of you who know me will know it all shaa....
2. Buy a pink jeep
DO I even really have to expatiate? On a normal day sef....why would you?! But why.... :(
3. Laugh at a native doctors relatives. (Unless of course if you're a very strong Christian. But then if you were why exactly would you be laughing at a native doctors familia? )

The Hospital!!!???
Okay...so this isn't particularly a general post. This is actually my FIRST post about my school, the other two previous posts were about sports and dangerous life that I've seen in the school, and not the school ITSELF.
Have a first look at the MASSIVE site being cleared for the rumoured state-of-the-art health facility complex being build at the prestigious AFE BABALOLA UNIVERSITY. Right here!! More pictures after the cut (^_^)
You can check out more details n the school itself at www.abuad.edu.ng

The Impossible Love
Did you ever fall for someone you know
you shouldn't?
Try hard to fight your feelings, but
you just couldn't?
You, fall deeper with each passing day,
But, try to hide it in every possible
way.
He's only a friend,
and nothing else--
That's the lie you keeping telling yourself.
You keep on saying, he's just a bud,
But deep inside, you're falling in love.

Things to Avoid doing in the New Year: The Top Ten Lies People Tell
This is a compilation of the top ten lies people tell, collated from various sources and after multiple processes of investigation and research. (If you check carefully enough, you'll see that that's a lie too :P. I just collected them based on personal views and opinions, no research done.....or was there? )
This article however is actually an original typed piece. Please don't copy this :|. Just refer it :D Have fun though....

1. I Don't Lie
I'm sure you've said this one once or twice in your life, you may even be among the few of us that say it a LOT even, but seriously though? "No more paradoxicals" is the way to go for his new year.
2. I'll Be Done In..... Minutes
So many people say this that it's become ridiculously overplayed and overused. Anyone saying this knows it's a lie, and anyone hearing it ALSO knows that it's a lie. Funny thing? It's almost always never meant to be a lie. We just usually tend to either overestimate our abilities or underestimate the circumstanced delaying us. I's not so much of a lie - than it is an "erroneous statement".
3. I'm Fine
People say this one a lot. To avoid complicating a discussion, or to avoid starting one with someone you're not interested in talking to at that moment, or other reasons here and there that seemingly justify the lie in their minds, even though it's subconsciously let out, but really - It's not justifiable, only excusable. There's a difference.

Being Shy
Hi. I'm Jamike. I'm kinda sure you knew this already but I'll try to go on with what we're here for.
Shyness. It's a dilemma for many and deemed an asset by very very few.
Have you ever wondered if you're shy? If you're actually wondering...then it's likely you're not. If you've ever wondered whether you're outspoken.....it's most likely that you are...sorry? :P

Corporal Punishment - The rage and the beatdown
- Corporal Punishment -
By Jamike O. M . Ekennia-Ebeh
What is this corporal punishment of a thing? Well there are several ways of looking at it.
Wikipedia defines it as; -
![]() |
| Original Image Site Link |
"...a form of physical punishment that involves the deliberate infliction of pain as retribution for an offence, or for the purpose of disciplining or reforming a wrongdoer, or to deter attitudes or behaviour deemed unacceptable. The term usually refers to methodically striking the offender with the open hand or with an implement, whether in judicial, domestic, or educational settings."
